 Selena Quintanilla Perez (Spanish pronunciation Selena Quintanilla Perez (Spanish pronunciation: [se' 16, 1971 - March 31, 1995), also known as Selena, is an American Tejano performer. Called the "Queen of Tejano music" Her contributions to music and fashion led her to be one of the most well-known Mexican-American entertainers in the second half of the 20th century. In 2020, Billboard magazine put her in third position on their list of "Greatest Latino artists of All Time", based on both Latin albums and Latin charts for songs. Many media outlets have called her the "Tejano Madonna" for her style of clothing. Her choices in clothing also makes her one of the top Latin artists. Quintanilla Quintanilla.
