Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American model and actress, was a former actor who has since retired. Elson started the acting profession as a a child model/actress and then as an actress professionally, is famous for her portrayal of Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea was selected to play Lynn Tanner in the popular show ALF beginning in 1986. Andrea was a part of a variety of successful TV shows, and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she resigned from the world of entertainment to focus on her family. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF, the teenaged child to Kate the actress and Willie. In 2000, people reported that she was struggling to develop as an individual woman in front of the viewers of sitcoms. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson grew up into a world that revolved around travel because her advertising father was a traveling salesman. When she was just ten years old, she lived between New York Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent, and the role for which she auditioned was selected. Fusco was in favor of the idea saying, "ALF can drink beer because he is older than 285." NBC warned Fusco to keep ALF from drinking in the presence of kids because it's a bad model. Even though Fusco thought that ALF was an adult he could do the same thing with way he wants to - alcohol ... and die. In 1995, Fusco was discovered to have cancerous lymphoma. This cancer was treated successfully and he went on to be in recovery for the remainder of his existence. The disease took his life on 26 June, 2019, at 75 years old. He died at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
